Business leaders Michael Denham, Chih-Ting Lo and Emma Mohns join SDTC Board<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) seeks companies with transformative environmental and economic potential and help them harness this potential across a continuum of funding, from seed to start-up to scale-up. SDTC invests not just in projects, but in a company\u2019s future.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To guide this work, SDTC\u2019s Board of Directors is responsible for the strategic vision of the foundation and provides fiduciary oversight through four sub-committees: Audit, Governance and Nominating, Human Resources, and Project Review. Collectively, the Board of Directors brings experience and expertise from multiple sectors and represents diversity in gender, language, ethnicity and region.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, SDTC announce three new appointments to the Board of Directors. Michael Denham will join as a Director and Chih-Ting Lo and Emma Mohns join as observers to fill future Board positions.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Michael Denham<\/span><\/b> is a seasoned business leader who is passionate about entrepreneurship and looks to bring financial and business solutions to entrepreneurs to help them achieve their goals. He is currently a Vice-Chair of the Commercial Bank and Financial Markets at National Bank of Canada. Before joining National Bank, he served two terms as the CEO of BDC.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Chih-Ting Lo<\/span><\/b> is a strategist, entrepreneur, and Independent Director committed to making global net-zero carbon future a reality focusing on high-impact industries. Her deep sectoral knowledge and expertise in environment, social, and governance (ESG) performance and data driven approach uniquely compliments exercising governance best practices and overseeing risks. Chih-Ting is the founder and president of EELO Solutions.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Emma Mohns<\/span><\/b> is Senior Legal Counsel at Kinaxis, a leading supply chain management software company based in Ottawa, where she leads on corporate governance, securities and M&A. Emma is of mixed Ojibwe-settler heritage and is a proud member of Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory on Manitoulin Island. Prior to Kinaxis, she practiced corporate law primarily with Canadian tech startups and developed diversity programs for Indigenous and other underrepresented youth.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
